Suppose, you are buying a property in Uttar Pradesh whose value is Rs 75,00,000 and the stamp duty rate in Uttar Pradesh is 7%.

Calculation:

  2. stamp duty rate: 7%

Stamp Duty = (Property Value) × (Stamp Duty Rate) / 100
= 75,00,000 × 7 / 100
= Rs 5,25,000
